You can trust our expertise and workmanship because our engineers are highly trained and their skills have been accredited by the most respected bodies in the industry.
All our work is 100% compliant with electrical certified regulations and standards. Our engineers are fully qualified NICEIC-registered, with Part P and 17th edition. NICEIC is the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting, one of the main regulatory bodies for the electrical industry in the UK.
Our engineers are also ELECSA-certified, government-approved Part P electricians. This means we have the knowhow to complete your electrical jobs to the highest official safety standards, and we ensure we are fully up to date with any changes to safety and installation regulations.
We are also on top of reporting changes to your property to keep your local authority aware of alterations, in accordance with building guidelines.

Does your property need a rewire?
There a few reasons why your property might need a partial or full rewire. These include wiring that is of a certain age. Here, rewiring can ensure the safety of your home’s electrics.
Rewiring can be a costly process, but there are many occasions when it is essential to keep you and your family safe.
It’s common to carry out wiring inspections on a property once every 10 years, or whenever a tenancy expires if the property is being let.
Choosing whether rewiring is necessary, however, is not a black-and-white issue. Just because wiring is old, it doesn’t automatically need to be replaced. Whether a property needs rewiring depends on the materials used, what condition they are in, and the previous electrical use in the property.
When rewiring is necessary
If your wiring is more than 30 years old, it is more likely to need rewiring so that it can be modernised to meet safety and usage standards. Wiring designed 30 years ago was not built with today’s levels of use in mind.
Other signs you may need a rewire
There are many signs easily discernible from the performance of your electrics that indicate you need a home rewire.
- Circuit breakers trip regularly
- Outlets and switches give electric shocks
- Flickering lights
- Exposed or damaged wires
