Switched On London are a team of specialists in gas & heating, plumbing, drainage and electrics. We’re driven by our desire to get the very best results for all clients.

We also offer full bathroom installations and undertake additional services such as appliance repairs and a range of Landlord compliance/pre tenancy inspections and certifications.

We’re based in Earlsfield and operate throughout Southwest and Central London. Thanks to our experience and passion, we always get the best results, and we achieve such results by employing fully trained engineers.

Plumber

This is for both reactive and planned jobs in commercial and domestic properties.

General maintenance plumbing such as leaks, blockages, taps, radiator & valve replacements/installations, central heating pumps and shower pumps, etc.

Most of our work is in the Southwest and Central London areas, therefore we are looking for engineers based locally to the area. We operate Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.

Skills Required:

  • Have at least 3 years on the job experience ideally after completing a full apprenticeship.
  • Have your own hand tools. (Power tools can be provided)
  • Have the ability to think outside the box, diagnose problems and gather the necessary materials to successfully achieve the solution
  • Have a full UK driver’s licence.
  • High standard of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Have a polite and friendly manner and conscious of a clean working environment.
  • Good knowledge in health & safety

Customer Services Representative

Department: Admin Team

Location/Branch: Earlsfield, London

Position reports to:  Office Manager

Position is responsible for: None

Length of contract: Permanent

Salary: £22-25k per annum

 

Main Purpose of Job

To provide excellent customer service to all of our clients, and to assist the supervising teams with diary management of the engineers, booking appointments via phone, email and text to ensure the smooth running of their day

Main Duties

  • As part of a team manage a large number of incoming calls and emails from new and existing customers, and ensuring we are transforming calls in bookings.
  • To upsell our services to new and existing customers.
  • To provide excellent customer service.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • To provide prompt, accurate and courteous responses to customers emails.
  • To update and keep accurate records of customer interactions using the organisations software, process customer accounts and file documentation relating to jobs.
  • Assist the supervising teams with diary management of engineers.
  • Ensuring that all new quotes and enquiries are followed up on.
  • Taking payment for services.

Requirements:

  • At least one year customer service experience in a fast passed environment.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and well-motivated.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer facing skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and organise workload
  • Experience using Commusoft or Zendesk or ability Able to pick up different software packages quickly.
  • Well organised and good time management skills are essential.
  • Requires excellent written English skills
  • Available to work approximately 1 Saturday in every month with day off during the week.
